NDIS not just funds services but also ensures that the participants are financially capable of availing of assistive technologies and this vision equipment. They are meant to help the participants counter the impact of low vision or complete/partial blindness and lead their lives safely and efficiently.

Basic vision equipment includes:

  • Image enlargement software
  • Braille Printer
  • Electronic reading technology
  • Speech conversion software to translate images and scripts.

Your level of impairment would be considered, and equipment would be provided accordingly.
